* It was established in Istanbul by High Mechanical Engineer Sami BÖLÜKBASIOGLU

* Santem A.S. became the only representative of BAYROL in Turkey,the famous company pioneer in pool chemicals in Germany,

*Then, SANTEM A.S. has been supplying Harvia Sauna Equipments from Finland, Emec trademarked pool disinfection apparatus from Italy, Prozone trademarked ozone producers from USA,  Menerga trademarked pool air conditioning operators and dehumidifiers from Germany, Dolphin pool cleaning robots from Israel , Fiberpool trademarked pool pumps and filters from Spain within its business scope as an importer company.

* It reached into company fame in Turkey  with the most extensive and high quality product applications on swimming pool equipments,spa,decorative pools,saunas and its equipments and pool chemicals in 1990 .

* It began its own production about pool equipments in 1991..

* It turned into an institution serving with 110 workers and producing 100 pieces of swimming pools assembly and 60 pieces of sauna per year in 1992.

* SANTEM AS established SANTEKNO in 1992 and this company of ours began production qwith its new bought plastical injection working bench and its own moulds,as well..

* It increased its production capacity by buying  60 moulds and 2 injection working benches more in 1995

* Stopping to undertake pool commitment business in 1998, completely,Santem AS gained speed on producing pool equipments. It took a big step on the subject of wholesale of all pool,jacuzzi,sauna equipments as well as importing goods about its sector.

* Committing  Export process  by 2000, SANTEM AS began exporting goods to Post-Soviet  RUSSIA,AZERBAIJAN, UZBEKISTAN,

UKRAINE,TURKMENISTAN.

* The main countries to which SANTEM A.S. exports its goods are such as: France - Greece - Bulgaria – Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus-- United Arab Emirates - Kenya - Romania - Moldova - Kyrgyzstan - Tunisia - Morocco - Kuwait - Iraq - Syria - Germany – United Kingdom - Netherlands -Austria

* It gained Production Capability Certificate form Turkish Standards Institute in 2001.

*It gained TS EN ISO 9002:1994 Quality Management Systems Certificate in 2002.

*Carrying its Headquarters into Samandira Facilities in 2003, Santem A.S began to fulfill all production-storage-packaging and forwarding  process in its Samandira Facilities with the area of 4500 m2 .

 * It enlarged one step more with SANTEM Pool Chemicals Industry and Commerce INC. in 2004 and Santem A.S and Santekno  combined together,completely in 2005 yilinda and it continued its business as SANTEM A.S. under one name.

 * It began production of Sand Filters having sizes between 350 mm and 2000 mm in 2006.

* It began its studies to fulfill the pool ladders production within 2007.

* It proved to be the leader company considering Total Quality Management in Swimming Pools sector by getting  TS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Certificate, EN ISO 14001:2004 Environment Management System Certificate, CE Certificates and TSE Certificates.
